What to Pack? - Europe Edition

Updated: Mar 18

After deliberating on what to pack for my Europe adventure, I decided to share it with you! Planning to pack for a week sailing in Sardinia, followed by an Amalfi Coast Van trip and a few more luxurious nights in Paris… with a backpack. Limited to just a backpack, every item needs to earn its place. Here’s how to pack smart…

Footwear: The Perfect Trio

Since you’ll be moving between the beach life and city streets having the right shoes is key.

  • Pluggaz – Ideal for any boat trips and for beach days.

  • Salomon. NB or ASICS runners/sneakers – Perfect for exercising, runs, walks and day-to-day exploring.

  • Leather slides – Effortlessly stylish for evenings out and about.

Clothing

  • Bathers – 2 pairs (one is never enough for the coast)

  • Day-to-day clothes – 3/4 outfits that you can easily mix and match - Digress boardies with large pockets are a must

  • Nice dins outfits – 2

  • Warm layer – A lightweight sweater or jumper for cooler nights

  • Sleepwear – 1

  • Undies & essentials – 5-7 pairs of underwear, 3 bras, 3 socks

Accessories & Essentials

  • Digress Tallows Cap – The Tallows is perfect in that it goes with everything. Sun protection and a staple style piece.

  • Digress Chain Sunglasses – A must-have for every leg of the trip, polarised and durable.

  • Small crossbody bag – Secure and practical.

  • Packing cubes – Keep your limited space organised.

  • Universal adapter

  • Power bank – No one wants a dead phone on an adventure.

Toiletries & Extras

  • Minimal makeup – SPF BB cream, mascara, brow pencil and lip balm.

  • Travel-size sunscreen – Essential for days in the sun.

  • Hairbrush & hair ties

  • Mini toiletries – Solid shampoo/conditioner, moisturiser and soap.

  • Mini laundry soap

With limited space, the key is choosing pieces that mix and match easily and embracing the travel lifestyle—washing essentials when needed, layering smartly, and keeping it minimal. This list ensures you’re prepped for everything, from salty ocean days to sipping wine wherever you may be. Pack light and smart, chase the adventure ahead. Stay safe and have fun X Digress
